Ghosts, Lost Spirits and Taoist Energy Protection
When the physical body dies, the subtle body and soul continue their journey. The spirit state is a transitional condition after death, where the spirit may move toward another realm or search for a new place of rebirth.

Some spirits continue smoothly. Others remain close to the human plane. They may stay near the place where the body, ashes or memory remains. They may remain near old houses, burial grounds, ancestral places or emotionally charged locations.

This is one reason why certain places feel heavy or strangely alive.

A spirit in this state is not always what people call a “ghost.” There is a distinction between a spirit body moving through the reincarnation process and a ghostly presence that may become stuck, captured, weakened or attached to a location.

In this view, many spirits are not evil. They are just searching.

They are between worlds.
Between memory and rebirth.
Between the human plane and the next passage.
In Taoist understanding, death is not the end of energy.
What Is a Spirit?
A living human being carries warmth, breath, emotion, blood, desire and Qi.

To a spirit without a physical body, human life-force can be attractive. This is why Taoist protection begins with the strength of the energy field. When the aura is strong, sealed and full of light, external forces do not easily enter. When the field is weak, scattered or full of energetic “holes,” the person may become more exposed to outside influences.

When the protective field is not active, environmental spirits may enter the body or organs. In Taoist language, this is not only a psychological condition but an energetic problem: the field has become open, and something from outside has crossed the boundary. This is why protection is not just a ritual.
In Taoist understanding, death is not the end of energy.
Why Spirits May Come Close to Human Energy
In Taoist magic, the aura is not simply a glow around the body. It is a living energetic boundary. It can be weak or strong.

Open or sealed.
Scattered or focused.
Yin-dominant or yang-protected.

A white-yellow light field is a common energetic force field. Because it contains yellow light, it has some deflecting ability. But when the field shifts too much into yin mode, it may become easier to encounter ghosts and subtle presences. Not every light field protects equally.

A weak or unstable field may attract what it should repel. A field that is not properly charged may open the practitioner to impressions, presences or spiritual disturbances.
The Taoist path is not to become obsessed with ghosts. It is to become energetically complete enough that the field naturally holds its boundary.
The Energy Field: Your First Protection
Ghosts and spirits are often associated with yin dimensions, coldness, lack of physical body and absence of life-force. Yellow light creates a warmer, stronger, more yang field.

It does not simply “fight” the ghost.

It changes the energetic condition around the practitioner.

When the body is filled with stronger yang light, the field becomes less compatible with wandering or yin-level forces. This is why Taoist protection often begins with the Solar Plexus activation, the golden/yellow center of power, fire, radiance and manifestation.

A strong yellow field says:

This body is occupied.
This field is sealed.
This energy is strong.
No wandering force may enter.
Pure yellow light is stronger than white-yellow light. It is associated with a Yang force field, deflection and the ability to purge spirits or negative energy. The pure yellow field places the practitioner in a stronger yang condition, making ghost encounters less likely. This is very important in Taoist protection.

In Taoist magic, a curse is not treated only as a bad thought or emotional negativity. It may be understood as an energetic program carried by intention, sound, mantra, spirit force or another practitioner’s energy.

True magical work always requires energy. Without energy, witchcraft has no power - it remains empty intention. But when energy is present, intention becomes a living force.

This is also why the protection must be stronger than the influence.

If a curse or ghostly attachment is created through energy, words alone are not enough. The practitioner must have a developed field, trained perception, and the ability to work with light, hands, eyes, sound, and intention.

If yellow light is the strong protective force field, gold light is the higher spiritual shield. In Taoist energetic practice, gold light is understood as a refined protective frequency - stronger, brighter, and more spiritually authoritative than any ordinary light.

When the body is filled with gold light, it becomes less vulnerable to magical influence, curses, and ghostly intrusion. Gold light floods the inner body so completely that darkness has no place to enter.
⭐Gold Light and Curse Protection
Allow the golden light to expand through the stomach, organs, bones, skin, and finally around the whole body as a golden protective aura.

Feel this golden field sealing the aura, strengthening your life-force, and protecting you from negative energy, wandering spirits, hungry ghosts, and lost souls.

You may say inwardly: “My solar plexus is strong. My aura is sealed. My body is filled with golden light. Only beneficial energy may enter.”

Useful tip: To support the practice, wearing gold or yellow clothing or gold jewelry can help anchor the protective solar plexus energy throughout the day.
Sit or stand comfortably. Relax your shoulders and breathe into the lower abdomen.

See a golden moon shining at the back of your head, near the occipital area. Bring this golden moon into the center of your brain, then slowly guide it down into the solar plexus. Focus on the solar plexus and let the golden light grow:

Bigger. Brighter. Stronger.
